Laundry Cottage - Dumfries

The bathroom at Laundry Cottage was fantastic! It had both a shower and a bath, which gave me options for a relaxing soak or a quick rinse. The bed linen was clean and cozy, making for a comfortable night's sleep. As someone who loves to be close to the beach, the cottage's location near the coast was perfect for me.

If I have to nitpick, I personally found one feature at Laundry Cottage that was not to my liking. However, some might still enjoy it.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage in a peaceful location. The cottage was beautifully presented and had all the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were really comfortable with high-quality bedding, and the towels provided were great too. The host was lovely and always available if needed. We also enjoyed the use of the tennis court and the walks around the surrounding grounds. this cottage provided a quiet and relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting.

Laundry Cottage provided a mind-blowingly beautiful and quiet setting, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The cottage itself was super cozy and beautifully presented, with all the usual items you would need including a Nespresso machine. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the high-quality bedding made for a jaw-droppingly comfortable sleep. The towels were also great and everything was spotlessly clean on arrival. The kitchen was fully equipped with an electric kettle and all the cookware and utensils you could possibly need. The host, Corrina, was absolutely amazing. She was extremely friendly and always available to help or answer any questions. She even took the time to allow my kids to groom and spend time with one of her horses, which made their holiday. The use of the tennis court was an added bonus and we made great use of it. our stay at Laundry Cottage was absolutely superb and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable countryside retreat. We can't wait to return!

Peaceful and cosy cottage in a superb location, with all the essentials supplied. Corinna, the friendly host, took time out of her day to allow the kids to groom one of her horses, which made their holiday. Access to a tennis court was a big plus. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the countryside.

We had a wonderful time at Laundry Cottage, staying for a few days in the lovely countryside. The cottage had everything we needed, including a spacious bedroom with a comfy bed and pillows. The private garden was perfect for enjoying the peaceful and quiet surroundings. The location was great for exploring the area and the cottage had plenty of entertainment options, like a large flat-screen TV, DVDs, games, and books. The host was friendly and available if needed, and we highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

As foreign tourists, we loved the peaceful location and beautiful views of the countryside. The cottage was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed, including a Nespresso machine. The beds were comfortable and the towels were of high quality. The host was welcoming and available if needed. We also enjoyed the use of the tennis court and the opportunity for our kids to spend time with the horses.

The towels were so amazing, it was such a hassle to have to leave them behind when I checked out.
